Our Summer
Since my last blog we have had some exciting times. Including a trip to San Diego, trip to Arizona, another trip to sea world, a preschool graduati
on and even a birthday.
Here we are in San diego at the Harbor showing the boys these great ships. Then is was off to the beach for some fun in the Sun? Well there was no sun but it was fun in the sand and a cute picture.

This is when we went to St David AZ for a baby blessing. While there we went to Tmbstone and went on a ride on a carriage. The boys had so much fun. We sent time with Jospeh and his family and we even got some time with Grandma and Papa. The boys loved there new cousine.
While Grandma and Papa were down visiting we went to Sea world with them. Hyrum loved looking and touching the star fish. Then this cute seal wanted to join our family after we feed it some smelly fish.
My parents went to Alaska for the summer so we had a birthday party for Ben before they left so they could celebrate his birthday with him. His friend Alan came over and the boys had fun hitting the pinata and eating cake that Ben had me decorate with dinosours. My big boy truned 5 years old.
In June Ben graduated from preschool. They had a ceremony and the kids dance and sang songs. They had cap and gowns and everything. I cried so much its hard to see that my little man is growing up and going off to kindergarden. And it was also sad that him and Alan will not be going to the same school, I am sure the boys will miss each other so mcuh.
On Ben's actual brithday we went to Chuck E Chesse's for some fun and pizza. Then it was home for cupcakes and presents.
We had a fun summer visiting family and friends, celebrating and watching our boys grow into such big boys who love each other.

Our Harvest
A few months ago about February Ben and I planted some corn. It was so much fun when the seeds stared to sprout because I thought for sure nothing would grow. So when we saw that corn actually grew from the seeds we (meaning me) were so excited. So yesterday we took the boys out to harvest what we grew. My dad was teaching the boys how to pull the corn from the stock.
They we happy to have corn come from there backyard.
Oh my cute little farmers.
Pool Time
It is that time of year when it is sooooooooo hot out you think "Why do I live here?" Then you set up the pool and realize that you have missed the heat and are looking forward to 4 months of above 100 degree weather because you get to swim all day long because at 9pm its still 90 degrees outside. I love the summer it's nice to get wet, I can't wait until we set up our huge pool so that I can swim with the boys and enjoy.
Two Little Pigs
My boys love mud because it makes them nice a dirty and gives mommy so much to clean up seeing as she has nothing else to do. So one day they decided to get nice and dirty for me. They were having so much fun rolling around in the mud, 10 minutes after the picture was taken even there hair was covered in mud.

Happy ending for April
I realized that I have been neglecting my blog and so here I am. For easter we had a bunch of families from my parents ward over and had a wonderful dinner and easter egg hunt. We even had a musical number by my niece Ashley and one of the sister missionaries. They both played the flute. My sister and here family have been listening to the sister missionaries. My sister have been inactive for about 11 years. Alyssa my youngest niece is getting ready to be baptized and wants Nathan to baptize her. Our family is so excited that they are returning to church little by little
.
In other good news Hyrum got his teeth fixed (but not with that other doctor) and he is a new kid. So this is my long story, my friend is a dentist down in Mexicali and she recomended this dentist that specializes in children. He was one of her professors and highly recomended him. So a Monday eveing I took him in and he said he would have to put him under because he had 5 cavities and one needed a root canel and all four molres needed crownes. So we set up the appoinment for that same sunday. Sunday we go and the work is done in about 2 hours. By the time we cross the border Hyrum is ready to eat and run around. And is only cost 640 dollars for everything. I know that our Heavenly Father was taking care of my little boy that He watched over him and that He proteced him while he was asleep. What a blessing to know that He is there watching out for us and helping us along the way.

Long week
Our week started with taking Ben to the hospital on sunday night with a 105 degree fever. And being there until 12 am. After doing x-rays and blood work it turns out he had pnemonia. We would have to go back the next day for another dose of the medication. So monday I have to take Hyrum to the dentist because he has cavities that have been bothering him since saterday and he can't eat. Monday morning added to the tooth pain his right side is swollen. My parnets dirve me to san diego which is 2 1/2 hour drive. We see the dentist and then he sends me to a pediatirc dentist who sends me home with him and tells me that since our we have HMO he wants to make sure that will get his money so he has to call the insurance and then we will go from there, and plus the next opening is not until end of May or beging of June. And all this time Hyrum is in pain. Added to all this stress I had voulentered myself to make bunny cakes for Ben's school and they sold 30 cakes. So my mom and I bakes all day wenseday and at school one teacher and 1 parent and I decorated all 30 cakes thursday morning. They turned out really cute though.
Wensday Ben had his easter party at school but since he was sick I only took him for a while. They had an easter egg hunt and I make cupcakes. Hyrum wnet with us and he also had a blast.
